Souldi is responsible for the personal data it processes in connection with user accounts, uploaded images, generated avatars, image-derived data, generated results, and related personalization features.

Depending on how you use Souldi, we may collect and process the following personal data:

Account and contact data

• account information;
• login or authentication information;
• email address or other contact details if you provide them (when used on a store, this is shared with that store — see "Sharing with the store you used");
• support requests or communications with Souldi.

Uploaded image data

When you upload an image or photo, we may process:

• the original image you upload;
• information visible in the image;
• technical file data related to the upload.

Avatar and image-derived data

To provide Souldi's virtual try-on and styling features, we may generate or process:

• generated avatars;
• body references;
• image masks;
• measurement references;
• embeddings;
• technical representations or visual references needed to provide the feature;
• other image-derived data needed for virtual try-on, sizing, styling, personalization, safety, and product-quality improvement.

Generated results

Souldi may generate and process:

• virtual try-on previews;
• outfit previews;
• styling outputs;
• size suggestions;
• product recommendations;
• other AI-generated shopping or visualization outputs.

Interaction and usage data

We may process information about how you interact with Souldi, such as:

• products viewed;
• outfits or generated results created;
• feature usage;
• preferences;
• clicks, sessions, device data, logs, and technical usage data;
• error, security, and fraud-prevention logs.

Brand and garment data

Souldi may process garment images, product metadata, embeddings, textual descriptors, and catalogue information provided by fashion brands or stores in order to match products with users and generate try-on or styling results.

User image data and garment data are managed separately.

Souldi may use your personal data for the following purposes:

• creating virtual try-on previews;
• generating and storing your avatar;
• creating body references, masks, measurement references, embeddings, or technical representations needed to provide the feature;
• showing how selected garments, outfits, or products may appear on you;
• providing styling, sizing, fit, and product recommendations;
• allowing you to reuse Souldi without uploading a new image each time;
• improving output quality, safety, accuracy, personalization, and user experience;
• training, evaluating, testing, and improving Souldi's AI models using generated results, technical metadata, interaction data, quality signals, error logs, product-usage data, and, where permitted by applicable law and subject to safeguards, uploaded images, generated avatars, embeddings, and image-derived data;
• detecting technical errors, misuse, fraud, abuse, unsafe content, or security issues;
• providing customer support;
• maintaining, securing, and improving Souldi's infrastructure;
• complying with legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or compliance obligations.

Souldi processes uploaded images, generated avatars, embeddings, and image-derived data to provide virtual try-on, styling, sizing, personalization, safety, and product-improvement features.

Souldi does not use your uploaded image, generated avatar, embeddings, or related image-derived data for biometric identification, biometric verification, authentication, facial recognition, or to uniquely identify you as a person.

Souldi does not create or use biometric templates for identity-recognition purposes.

Souldi may use generated results, technical metadata, interaction data, quality signals, error logs, and other product-usage data to evaluate, test, train, and improve Souldi's AI models, output quality, safety, accuracy, personalization, and overall user experience.

Souldi may also use uploaded images, generated avatars, embeddings, and image-derived data for these improvement purposes where permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate safeguards, including access controls, data minimization, retention limits, exclusion controls, and technical measures designed to reduce privacy risk.

You may request at any time to be excluded from the use of your uploaded images, generated avatars, image-derived data, generated results, and related interaction data for AI model training, product improvement, output-quality improvement, personalization, and user-experience improvement.

If you make this request, Souldi will stop using your data for these improvement purposes going forward, unless limited processing is required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance.

Depending on the context, Souldi may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Consent: for image upload, avatar generation, image-based try-on, and any processing where consent is required.
• Contract or pre-contractual necessity: to provide the Souldi service, generate try-on results, store avatars for logged-in users, and operate account features.
• Legitimate interests: to improve Souldi, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, debug technical issues, improve quality, and understand product performance, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Legal obligation: where processing is required to comply with applicable law, regulatory obligations, court orders, or lawful requests.

You may withdraw consent or request exclusion from improvement uses as described in this Privacy Policy.

Souldi deletes the original image you upload after the virtual try-on or avatar creation process is completed, and in any case within 24 hours, unless we are legally required to keep limited information for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.

If you are a logged-in user, Souldi may store your generated avatar, body reference, image mask, measurement reference, embeddings, or related technical data in your account so that you can reuse Souldi without uploading a new image each time.

Souldi stores your generated avatar and related account data until you delete the avatar, request deletion, or delete your account, unless limited retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance.

Souldi stores generated results in your account until you delete the generated result, request deletion, or delete your account, unless limited retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance.

Technical, security, fraud-prevention, debugging, and error logs are generally retained for up to 90 days, unless longer retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, enforcement, or investigation of misuse.

Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 60 days before automatic deletion through backup rotation.

You may delete your avatar, generated results, and related image data at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at admin@souldi.io.

An email address already shared with a store is subject to that store's own privacy practices, which Souldi does not control.

If you delete your avatar or withdraw consent, Souldi will stop using it for future try-on, styling, sizing, or personalization features, unless limited retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance.

Souldi may generate images, outfit previews, try-on visuals, styling outputs, size suggestions, and product recommendations based on your generated avatar and the products available in the relevant brand store.

Generated results are provided for your personal shopping, styling, and social-sharing use.

If you download or share generated results, including on social media, you are choosing to make those results available outside Souldi. Souldi is not responsible for how third-party platforms process content you choose to share there.

Souldi does not publish your uploaded image or generated avatar publicly, use it in advertising, or sell it unless you give separate consent.

Sharing with the store you used

When you verify your email address to use the try-on tool on a store, that email address is shared with the merchant who operates that store — it is their record of the shoppers who used the tool on their site. The photo you upload and the body measurements derived from it are not shared with the merchant. The original photo is deleted automatically within 24 hours (see "Storage and deletion"); the avatar and body measurements derived from it are held under your Souldi account, used only for your own try-on, and you can view and delete them at any time.

Unless you give separate, explicit consent, Souldi will not:

• sell your uploaded image;
• publish your uploaded image publicly;
• use your uploaded image in marketing or advertising;
• share your uploaded image with unrelated third parties;
• identify you across stores or services you have not used;
• create a public profile from your uploaded image;
• use your uploaded image, generated avatar, embeddings, or related image-derived data for biometric identification, biometric verification, authentication, facial recognition, or to uniquely identify you as a person.

Souldi uses trusted technical service providers, including AWS and Supabase, to provide hosting, storage, databases, authentication, infrastructure, security, image processing, AI generation, and related technical services.

Souldi aims to host and process production user data in European Union or European Economic Area regions where technically and commercially available.

Where Souldi selects an EU or EEA region, core production data is intended to be stored in that selected region.

Souldi may also process images and generated avatars through Souldi's own infrastructure.

These providers may process your image, generated avatar, image-derived data, account data, generated results, and technical data only as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Souldi, and must follow appropriate confidentiality, security, and data-protection obligations.

However, some providers, subprocessors, support operations, security operations, diagnostics, account administration, or legally required disclosures may involve processing or transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, Souldi will rely on appropriate legal safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, data processing agreements, technical security measures, and other safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

Souldi may process garment images, product metadata, embeddings, textual descriptors, and catalogue information provided by fashion brands or stores in order to match products with users and generate try-on or styling results.

Fashion brands may manage, update, or delete their own garment data within Souldi.

User image data, avatars, and related image-derived data are managed separately from fashion-brand garment data.

Souldi uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect uploaded images, generated avatars, embeddings, account data, generated outputs, and related data, including access controls and secure transmission.

However, no digital service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Souldi's image-based features are not intended for users under 16.

Souldi may delete images, avatars, generated results, and account data, and may restrict access, if it believes the feature has been used by a minor.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access your personal data;
• request correction;
• request deletion;
• withdraw consent;
• restrict processing;
• object to certain processing;
• request portability;
• request exclusion from AI-training and product-improvement uses;
• lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

Souldi applies the following general retention approach:

• original uploaded image: deleted after processing and in any case within 24 hours, unless limited retention is legally required;
• generated avatar and related technical data: stored until you delete the avatar, request deletion, or delete your account;
• generated results: stored in your account until you delete the generated result, request deletion, or delete your account, unless limited retention is required;
• technical, security, fraud-prevention, debugging, and error logs: generally retained for up to 90 days, unless longer retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, enforcement, or investigation of misuse;
• encrypted backups: deleted data may remain in backups for up to 60 days before automatic deletion through backup rotation;
• brand and garment data: managed separately by Souldi and the relevant fashion brand or store.

Souldi may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, technical, or business changes.

If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to inform users where required.
